The international network of the gvSIG Association has been extended: USA, Japan and Germany
The international nature of the gvSIG Association collaborators network has been extended, where the company Terra GIS, with headquarters in USA, and the company Georepublic, with headquarters in Germany and Japan, have joined to this group.
Terra GIS provides expertise in Geographical Information Systems, consulting for social and environmental issues, and subjects related to sustainable development. Services include environmental research, field work and reporting, spatial analysis, cartography, implementation of web mapping and information systems, and the creation of specialized tools related to conservation, natural resources management, and public and social engagement issues.
Georepublic specializes in the development and marketing of IT solutions in the field of geographical information systems, (GIS) logistics and business intelligence based on open source software projects. One key activity is the support of the open source project pgRouting.
With these collaboration agreements, the business network development continues, promoting business collaboration around gvSIG and free geomatics, in order to generate synergies and consolidate the local business network.
