Certification

The gvSIG Association will issue certifications about gvSIG (gvSIG Certification) , based on the acquisition of a range of knowledges ,which will ensure the skills of the students in the gvSIG products and / or FOSS4G.

The training is structured on compulsory / optional modules, with certain number of credits. To obtain a certain Certification, a minimum number of credits must be obtained.

By this way the student can progress gradually according to their needs in the knowledge of an specific field of gvSIG. These courses will be imparted only by entities, previously appointed as official training gvSIG centers.

There are three types of training:

• On-line

• On site

• Mixed

Regarding to online training, the gvSIG Association has its gvSIG Training online platform.

Certification

The gvSIG User Certification is composed of two levels:

• gvSIG User Certification

• gvSIG Expert Certification

+Information about the user certificates and the course modules.

 The types of certifications will be expanded to, both gvSIG specific applications and other FOSS4G technologies.
